Sport Northland's consultation found that the Hikurangi community wanted more opportunities for young people; summer sport opportunities; more fitness and recreational opportunities, a Hikurangi sports club hub & collaboration between sport codes.  Attendees have been meeting regularly with the next step being to establish a formal steering group.
