HEALTHY ACTIVE LEARNING

Improving child and youth wellbeing

WHAT IS HEALTHY ACTIVE LEARNING

Healthy Active Learning is a joint initiative between Sport New Zealand and the Ministries of Health and Education seeking to improve child and youth wellbeing through healthy eating and quality physical activity.

Our regional workforce of Healthy Active Learning School Connectors and Healthy Active Learning Facilitators focus on enhancing the physical activity experiences of young people in selected primary and intermediate schools across Northland.

Our team are out there creating healthier, more active school environments with stronger connections to their communities.
