Northland workplaces came together as did the sunshine for the Ray White Hatea Loop Challenge with a Splash of Colour!
The event, postponed from December 2022 due to the weather, entailed a 4.8km run/walk for workplaces to come together to have fun, dress up, connect and celebrate workplace wellbeing.
On the night, participants kicked off the event with a vibrant colour shower before heading around the Hatea Loop passing through five fun colour stations and on course entertainment (including our neighbours, St Francis Xavier children’s choir). For some, the event was about taking out a win and for others a casual stroll around the loop with workmates.
Feedback from participants told us that they enjoyed the event and entertainment with also feeling blessed that the weather held out to be fine, being a rarity this summer!
“We really enjoyed the children singing in the choir as we passed by - too cute” (Seeds and Sprouts Childcare)
“It was nice just to get out with workmate’s and have just have a bit of fun” (Northpower)
The Ray White Hatea Loop Challenge with a splash of colour! will be back to its usual spot come December 2023 – special thanks to the team at Ray White Whangarei/Tutukaka.
