Turbo Touch #PlayitLoveit

Are you in to a totally social, fun, and action-packed game like no other that is perfect for all fitness levels and abilities?

Unlike traditional Touch, the ball can be passed forwards (and backwards, sideways, any way you like!) with teams only having two possessions to create a Touchdown; this creates an expressive style of play where the glory can be shared by the whole team.

The Active Families participants gave Turbo Touch a go as part of our Give a Go series. Steven from Touch New Zealand organised a fantastic afternoon for the families with an engaging, action-packed game plan.

Starting with introductions, warm-ups, a run-down of the rules of play, the team was ready for play.  Two teams, one pink the other blue. Mixed both boys and girls and mums involved too. It was total chaos. The ball was flying down the field from one team to the other.   Result a great show of teamwork, communication, and overall fun.

GRx Active Families is a free community-based support initiative that helps you and your children to get active and learn about healthy eating.  Our Coordinator helps your family to set goals and get involved in programmes with fun physical activities that children and parents can enjoy together.
