Whau Valley School brings together surrounding schools to develop a steering group to organise and lead a kaupapa of Ra tākaro by strengthening, whakawhanaunga, manaaki and kotahitanga between them through the traditional Māori game of Ki o rahi. Starting with a whakatau and ending with a haka, signifying a handover onto the next kura, who will host the next Ra Tākaro.
