Can you spot your kura?  Check out some highlights from the Yr 5 & 6 Mid North Ki-o-Rahi event held at Lindvart Park, Kaikohe. Twelve kura participated with heart and positive wairua and among them, first time attendees Umawera School.  The day was about participation, fun and whanaungatanga – celebrating this on both the field and off. 

Some feedback from the students include:

• We liked the wairua and atmosphere
• Liked how there were so many positive children and adults
• The event was very well organised and field layout awesome
• Awesome to see interaction between adults and children

Northland College Students led by example and stepped up to umpire their teina on the day and Tautoko FM turned up to awhi and support with music and media coverage.  Nga mihi nui ki a koutou me nga kaiaka, tauira, whanau hoki I tae mai ki tautoko te kaupapa.
