These two inspiring rangatahi tell the story of their involvement with the kaupapa. The video clip found here also shows the build-up to a beautiful showcase, Punanga, performed by the emerging young performing art leaders.

Punanga is a powerful expression of collective storytelling and the evolving voices of the next generation of artists. It weaves together dance, movement, poetry, direction, music, and songwriting.

The young leaders deepened the piece by crafting original soundscapes and written elements, adding depth and texture to the work. This kaupapa will continue in the Puanga Matariki festival in June 2025.
